Fees
My fee for a 50-minute session is $90. Payment is required at the time of service, and I accept cash, check or credit card.
Insurance
Currently I a provider with BCBS only. I am working to become a provider on the Medicare and Medicaid panels. If I am not an in-network provider for your insurance I would be happy to provide you with receipts to submit for reimbursement from your insurance company. Insurance companies will often cover about half of the cost of a visit to an out-of-network provider.
To check your insurance benefits:
Call the number listed on the back of your insurance card for customer assistance or member benefits. Sometimes there is a separate number for mental health benefits.
You will need your member number, social security number, date of birth, and my name and address handy. My legal name is Mary Hart, (Bess is a nickname) and I will be listed this way with the insurance company. Important questions include:
- How much will the insurance company cover in or out of network?
- Do you have to meet a deductible before the insurance company will pay? Have you already met any of this deductible?
- Is there a maximum number of sessions they will pay for each year?
- Is there a maximum dollar amount they will contribute each year?
Cancellation Policy
If you need to cancel or reschedule a session, please contact me with at least 24 hours notice. If you do not show up for a scheduled session or cancel with less than 24 hours notice you will be required to pay a $35 cancellation fee. Insurance will not cover missed sessions.
