Surviving The Quarter-Life Crisis

This 8-week group is for 20-something women to share their fears, frustrations, hopes and aspirations around the multitude of life-altering decisions you are facing. We will discuss decision-making, career choices, intimate relationships, family relationships and self-esteem. Primarily, we will explore your stories to work through the individual dilemmas you are facing. Additionally, we will learn creative and practical anxiety management and decision-making skills to help deal with change. Using readings from contemporary writers we will explore perspectives on the quarter-life crisis to gain insight in to the dilemmas facing 20-somethings.

The group will meet for 8 sessions. You are asked to commit and attend all 8 sessions. Your attendance is meaningful to your group members. Please discuss any schedule conflicts when registering.

Group will meet:
Saturday, October 22nd 11am-1pm
Saturday, October 29th 11am-1pm
Thursday, November 3rd 6-8pm (change due to group leader schedule)
Saturday, November 12th 11am-1pm
Saturday, November 19th 11am-1pm
NO GROUP on 11/26 because of the holiday
Saturday, December 3rd 11am-1pm
Saturday, December 10th 11am-1pm
Saturday, December 17th 11am-1pm

The full-fee for each group session is $50. When you register, you are committing to pay for all 8 group sessions. I would be happy to call your insurance company for you to find out if you have benefits that cover group mental health sessions. I am a BCBS provider and accept both in and out-of-network policies. In order to make this group as accessible as possible, I am happy to discuss your financial situation and offer a sliding-fee scale for the group.
